Acting Out: Sing Out for Mental Health

Acting Out logo (1).jpg

Join us at the LGBT Centre on Saturday September 14th for an afternoon of singing and music to raise money for Acting Out, and LGBT non-profit theatre company.

For the people who say “I can’t sing”, we’re “why not?” Everyone should be given space and opportunity to find their voice, which is why we have decided to provide an afternoon of singing for EVERYONE. We don’t care if you can read music or sing like an angel at the Sing Out day, we want you to have fun, find your voice and expression, meet people and leave feeling better than when you arrived.

This is a zero-judgement, zero-pressure opportunity to spend the day making music with people from all backgrounds and experiences, to use singing as an expressive outlet for mental health, no matter how severe or how minor.

Entry fee to participate in the fundraising event will cost £5 per person; fundraising for Acting Out’s upcoming production of ‘An Ideal Husband’.
